Long, blocky frying peppers. Great roasted, grilled or chopped up in a salad. Order by the fruit. Mostly still green, but starting to color/sweeten up.

Don’t the look of these peppers fool you… they are not hot! These heirloom peppers are called Jimmy Nardello’s (Nards), Carmen, and Chocolate. The Nards come to us from Italy by way of CT. Great raw or cooked, they’re a summer favorite for grilling. Pickle the green ones to make your own pepperoncini. Or blister just like you would a shishito pepper.
