A week of dry(ish) weather + the girls in Ohio visiting the grandparents + a backlog of to do items = one tired farmer! All of a sudden the fields dried up and we’re in the ground with kale, swiss chard and yokatta na. Onions, spinach, and lettuce are on deck, and lots more in the hole. May 9th may be a new record in lateness but I saw the writing on the wall and potted up everything. Fingers crossed they catch up so we have something to sell at the first farmers market! Speaking of something to sell, we have lots more green treats for you. There is more of everything available this week for those of you who just got our endless lettuce last week. The radishes are particularly fetching right now! Help me clear room in the tunnel for the tomatoes by adding another head or two of lettuce to your cart – you won’t regret it. Next week we’ll add spinach and swiss chard to the mix.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms reading this. I like to think farming is challenging, but I know it’s a walk in the fields in comparison to your jobs! And a special happy Mother’s Day to the two mothers in my life

Veggie Ordering and Pickup Procedures: Put your veggie orders in online before 8pm Sunday. The website is a little buggy so if you don’t see a wide variety of items or you see items out of stock, try refreshing your browser. Also confirm on checkout that you have the correct number of each item in your cart. The two pickup windows are working well, so we’ll keep it going. Choose your pickup window while checking out online: 1230-2pm and 4-5pm Monday on the farm at 64 Potter Hill Rd in Grafton. Pickups are in the long white garage on the left across from the beat up tan and red barn at the crest of the hill.
