Fresh cilantro, great in curries and salsa. Our favorite thing to do with cilantro lately is making cilantro pesto to go with tacos and burritos. The tops of the onions would be perfect in pesto too!
If you’re not sure about swiss chard – sautee in butter, add minced fresh garlic and white whine, braise until it’s as tender as you like it. You’ll be a convert.
Bunches of cute little beets. They should size up as we start picking. They’re a delicacy when small…no need to cut (halve if you must) or peel, just scrub, roast and serve! I left them in for an hour at 400. Candy sweet!
