We mostly grow red and cooking onions for dry onions, but some sweet onions got missed as fresh onions. Enjoy them while they last, they will be gone in a few weeks.
The sweet onion we grow is the Australian heirloom Ailsa Craig, which are sweet and mild like a Vidalia while having a richer flavor.
Cut a nice thick slab and stick it on your burger. And cut one for your sweetheart, too, while you’re at it.
