Basil with a lemony twist. Yes it really smells and tastes like lemon! We make bunches with stems long enough to keep in a jar of water on the counter.
Bunches of cute little beets. They should size up as we start picking. They’re a delicacy when small…no need to cut (halve if you must) or peel, just scrub, roast and serve! I left them in for an hour at 400. Candy sweet!
Instant salad – a combination of lettuces that look best each week. Potential candidates are summer crisps, romaines, and leafy lettuces. No messing around this year, they come in 2/3 pound bags (double previous years). It’s a big bag but it’ll last if you’re not a salad fiend!
