Garlic Scallions

Young garlic – look and taste very similar to normal scallions. Mild enough for raw in salads (my wife is very sensitive to strong garlic flavors and she enjoyed it in our first Potter Hill salad of the season). Delicious and plentiful, eat up!

This variety is called Evergreen Hardy White Scallion and it lived up to its name as they overwintered in the fields. A little rough around the edges in the looks department, but still delicious. And you know it’s good for you if it survives a New England winter with no protection! Limited quantities.


Delicious heirloom scallions, different varieties throughout the year. The tops of these got hit pretty hard in the freeze, but the rest of the scallion is still delicious!
