Medium to large sized lovely lettuces. This planting has a little damage on it, but still tastes great. If you prefer perfect lettuce, order the lettuce mix but these heads need to go!
Our lettuce glut sadly has passed. It’s a tough time to be a lettuce right now – peak heat and peak drought (hopefully). We’re moving on to some smaller heads for $3.
Half-pint jars of thai basil pesto. Great in curries, or if you’re making pad thai. Has peanuts. Made by CSA member’s daughter Margaret. Hopefully lots more yummy things to come.

These hot radishes will keep for months so you can cure your craving for radishes all winter long. Slice thin, salt liberally, splash with vinegar – this cuts the heat and brings out the sweetness. Or shave onto a salad for some explosive color and you won’t even notice the heat! Sold in bunches to start, greens are fine to cook too.
